Visitor Resources

San Pedro is a lot of things.

It’s home to the Port of Los Angeles and the World Cruise Terminal.

It’s a quaint historic town.

It’s an outstanding restaurant town.

It’s one of the centers of the arts movement in Los Angeles.

It’s up and coming as a destination for live theater and music.

And it’s at the heart of the San Pedro Bay-Los Angeles Harbor-Palos Verdes Peninsula region.

It’s also a great destination or home base for visitors who want to see all of Southern California’s highlights and attractions.

We’re a straight shot up the I110 (Harbor) freeway to Downtown Los Angeles and a short hop from there to Hollywood and Universal Studios.

We’re just about 10 miles from the Orange County line.

And Long Beach is a neighbor, just two bridges away.

The weather is pretty much always wonderful in San Pedro. It’s got Los Angeles’ Mediterranean climate, lots of sunshine, very little rain, and the last time we had snow was … few remember.

San Pedro is a very special place and it’s a great value for your clients or attendees, whether they want a vacation, are attending a meeting, wedding, or reunion, or are traveling to Southern California for business.

We’re also home to the Los Angeles World Cruise Terminal, the West Coast’s largest.

And with all there is to see and do, San Pedro is a great place to plan a day, two, or more before or after a cruise. (Here’s a plus: Passengers who schedule a pre-cruise getaway here avoid the stress, hassle, and disappointment of travel delays.)

And cruise ships can be great meeting venues.

Catalina Island is just about an hour away on fast boats from the terminal in San Pedro. And we’re here to help you plan any trip to San Pedro.

We are  the meetings and trade division of Visit San Pedro, the area’s destination management organization.

You’ll find personal attention from a staff that knows your needs and cares about making you look good to your clients.
