Overlooking the Cabrillo Marina you’ll find a restaurant that defines great seafood in Southern California. 22nd Street Landing Seafood Grill & Bar is the outstanding spot, right on the water, for all kinds of gourmet catch.
And even though it’s known for its seafood, the rest of the menu does not take a backseat. It’s all good—along with the views.
Take Sundays. 22nd Street has the best sit-down Sunday brunch you’ll find far or wide with both breakfast and lunch choices that really show off the restaurant’s specialties and they include an assorted fruit cup slice of coffee cake, and onion-herbed red potatoes and sliced tomatoes with basil and balsamic vinegar.
Add a glass of free-flowing Champagne for $10 or Mimosa for $12.
The dinner menu is huge—meaning it has choice for every taste. But this is a traditional restaurant where every single menu item is prepared from the freshest and highest quality ingredients with great care by a kitchen crew that’s been at the business of excellent food for many years.
Among the choices you’ll find are real California snapper, swordfish, and sea bass. Plus Alaska halibut, Atlantic salmon, and Hawaiian mahi-mahi.
House favorites include shrimp scampi, The Fisherman's Platter—that includes grilled shrimp and scallop skewer, and a swordfish skewer—seafood stuffed sole, and Kushiyaki—teriyaki beef skewer and chicken breast.
The restaurant serves corn-fed Angus beef that includes a filet mignon, top sirloins in four versions, and New York steaks.
There’s so much to choose from, you’ll just have to look at the menus (see the links below).
