Participate in the First Ever Point Fermin Lighthouse PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST
You are invited to submit your photographs of the Point Fermin Lighthouse Historic Site and Museum, for our first Point Fermin Lighthouse Photography Contest. The intention of the contest is to display contemporary photos of the lighthouse in its best condition with its new coat of paint. Amateur photographers of all ages, backgrounds and experience levels are invited to enter. Our panel of judges will select place winners. Won’t you join the competition! All winning photos will be included in an exhibit at the “Tea by the Sea” event on April 29th and may also appear in lighthouse promotions, web site, and social media.

Accepting Entries through Thursday, April 11 until 4 p.m.

The Point Fermin Lighthouse Historic Site and Museum is a facility managed by

The Point Fermin Lighthouse is pleased to announce its first Photo Contest for spring 2017! We want to celebrate the lighthouse’s new coat of paint with some gorgeous new photos. Everyone is welcome to enter; we will have several categories to choose from that will high-light the lighthouse, the gardens and its surroundings. We ask that all images be new photos of the lighthouse with its new coat of paint since November of 2016. We will be selecting local professional photographers to judge the photos. All winners will be announced this spring dur-ing our “Tea by the Sea” event on April 29th, 2017. The winners will be displayed in the light-house during the event and through the summer of 2017. The Point Fermin Lighthouse Historic Site and Museum is located in the Point Fermin Park at the end of Gaffey Street in San Pedro, California. The Lighthouse is managed by the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks and supported by the Point Fermin Lighthouse Society, a local non-profit organization.
