Ask anyone around San Pedro where you can get a great cup of coffee at a great price and they’ll tell you that would be at Sacred Grounds,468 W. 6th Street, Downtown.
Owner Dave Lynch opened the business in 1995 and has had the same employees almost as long. It’s the kind of place where you can satisfy your craving for coffee with lots of coffee drinks like cappuccino, iced coffee, and lattes along with a great selection of teas. And to complement your drink there is a large selection of bagels, croissants, and delicious pastries. You may even be in luck if Tracy has made his specialty tiramisu cake. And if you are vegan conscious Sacred Grounds has a variety of rolls and muffins just for you.
Hungry for more than a muffin? It has delicious salads and sandwiches, which you can have to go or you can enjoy the good vibes of this one of kind atmosphere and catch up on what’s going on and get the latest San Pedro news. You have plenty of time during the day to stop in because Sacred Grounds is open 365 days of the year from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. (Sundays 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.). It hosts open mic night on Tuesdays starting at 7:30 p.m. Show off your vocal talents, poetry readings, or guitar skills (or your other performance skills).
Sacred Grounds also does a wide range of catering from coffee and rolls to a hot sit-down meal for breakfast lunch or dinner. It is the official caterer for the Warner Grand Theatre.
